Summer is the right season to devote some time to learning to play a musical instrument...or to getting better at the one you already play! Without the pressure of school and the school year’s regular activities, and with more “laid-back” schedules, many people find that a summer spent on music pays dividends for a lifetime.
At Long Hill Music Center, our summer schedule is more relaxed, too: instead of our usual semester-schedule, in the summer we will schedule you for as many or as few lessons as you like and we can accommodate.
Here’s the way it works:
Students may register for any number of weekly lessons over the course of the nine-week summer session (yes, even just one!). We will accommodate vacation schedules for both students and teachers. The number of lessons, dates and the amount of tuition will be determined at registration. Tuition is paid at registration.
What if you have to miss a lesson? There is a scheduled “make-up week” at the end of the summer and students may have one make-up during that time. We will, of course, make up any lessons we are forced to cancel due to teacher illness, etc.
Of course, students may choose to continue their studies in the Fall by registering for the Fall Semester at the end of August. Continuing summer students have priority over newcomers for teaching slots.
